| Bahi was presented, “2005 National
Leadership Award” in July of 2006 by Federation
of Business & Professional Women Clubs of Canada
for her exemplary leadership of improving the economic,
political, employment and social conditions for
women. She is a recipient of “2005 Woman of
Distinction” Award in the Region of Durham
among several high calibre professional, business
and community leaders. In September of 2005, she
was honoured as “2005 Woman of Success - Volunteer
Award” in Durham Region. She was a nominee
for 2005 Peace Medal Award and YMCA Durham honoured
her as a “Peacemaker” in the community
at their 2005 Annual Awards night last November.
