Niroshi Krishnakhanthan Scholarship Foundation

 

Mission:
“To provide scholarship awards to 3 High School students who shows significant academic improvement and pursue the post-secondary education they need, to prepare themselves for the future. The award amounts up to $5,000 per year to each scholar who meets the above criteria. This award may be renewed for 4 years.”

The foundation’s objectives are to improve access to post-secondary education to all youth, to identify, support and encourage students showing a high level of academic improvement, and to build alliance with organizations and individuals who share post-secondary agenda.

This scholarship award is given in memory of her late daughter Niroshi Krishnakhanthan who died very young. This foundation supported 3 graduating students from Anderson Collegiate in Whitby, Ontario for the year 2006–2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.
